Makyle began his basketball journey in 2016, playing for the London Lions under 14 team.

Every day, he traveled from Haggerston School to Raines Foundation to train with Coach L, Shakeem, Ashley, Jarhel, and the rest of the Raines boys, demonstrating his dedication to the sport.

He also trained at the Copper Box every Tuesday, further showcasing his commitment to basketball.

A fast learner, Makyle quickly developed his skills and understanding of the game. He became a key contributor to the team, driven by a genuine love and passion for basketball.

Respected and well-liked by both staff and students, Makyle was known for his polite and well-mannered demeanor. Maturing beyond his years, he led by example, setting the standard for his peers both on and off the court.

Absolute pleasure to coach and to see all he accomplished in the game is a ture testament to his upbringing and family foundation who supported him throughout his amazing journey.
